Achieve Restful Sleep: Let Go of Racing Thoughts

Are you having trouble falling asleep and staying asleep because of thoughts swirling around your head. Try picturing your thoughts as fluffy clouds and watch them float away. This technique wrks better than simply trying not to think about them. While your eyes are closed allow the thought to be fully enveloped by the fluffy cloud and watch it float into the sky.

You may have to practice this technique but stick with it because it will help your mind and body relax and allow you to drift to sleep.

Do not be hard on yourself. Relaxation takes practice and it is not easy for us to turn off stressful thoughts.
